HOW TO INSTALL PEEL AND STICK WALLPAPER

COLOR
I do my best to accurately represent the color and scale of this design, however, digital screens and monitors are unreliable and should never be used to determine how a printed color will look, the only way to see colors is in person. The finished product may be slightly different than it appears in the preview on your screen or monitor. Color may vary slightly throughout materials. We print each order upon request (made-to-order) and while we try to maintain color through time we can't guarantee that between lots there will be a 100% color match. You might be one of those people (like me) who absolutely love surprises… but trust me, getting a color that doesn’t match your existing décor will not be a pleasant surprise. Order a sample!

OVERLAP
All our wallpaper panels have one 1/4 inch for overlap purpose in addition to the listed width. Overlap area is mandatory to ensure the quality of our wallpapers (to prevent gaps) and can be removed or left by the customer. While calculating the amount of panels you will need please do not count the overlap since it will be covered by the consecutive panel.

MADE TO ORDER
Once your order is placed, I will print and cut the design on the specific size you selected. American Decals Wallpaper panels are 26 inches wide and I offer a variety of lengths to fit the height of your wall. Each panel will overlap with the next one so the design will flow across the wall. Measure twice order once!

RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY
You can cancel your order within 1 hour of placing your order, for a full refund. After 1 hour, you will be able to cancel but you will get charged 50% of re-stocking fee. Each order is custom printed just for you. it. If your order arrives damage or defective. we will replace it at no extra cost to you. We do accept returns, but a re-stocking fee of 50% will apply. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, please message me and ship your item promptly. Customer is responsible for shipping cost of returns.
When our merchandise does not qualify as defective or damage?: The color is different from the screen (that is why we offer samples), the measurements purchased are wrong (panels are too short and do not cover the wall), the wallpaper material purchased is not suitable for the project (the peel and stick fails adhesion due to inappropriate environment such as wrong paint, climate, humidity or wall texture)

DID YOU RECENTLY PAINT YOUR WALLS?
Wait at least 4 weeks before applying decals/wallpaper when used a regular semi-satin latex paint. If the waiting period is ignored, your decals might fall or develop packets of air underneath (bubbles) during the outgassing period (gasses released by paint). CLEAN YOUR WALL even if you recently painted.
NOTE: Low VOC and Zero VOC paints will take longer periods of outgassing (up to 12 months)

AVOID Low VOC & Zero VOC paints if possible on the wall used for American Decals Peel & Stick Wallpaper:

SECURE YOUR WALLPAPER PANELS ( ONLY TO PEEL AND STICK WALLPAPER)
When it comes to Peel and Stick Wallpaper, you will need to be proactive and prevent adhesive failure by following the following recommendations. High humidity and chemicals in the paint are main causes the adhesive will fail. Please clean your wall, choose the right paint, and keep your humidity level at 40% or lower (During summer, your humidity will rise) To make sure panels won’t fall, use extra adhesive at the top of each panel. Examples of Adhesive to use:
Glue Dots Double-sided Dots (No mess- Non-Toxic) Add 5 -10 dots across the top of each panel.

We have tested this product for Peel and Stick Wallpaper installation, and we are happy to report is a game changer! It makes it easier to line up the pattern panel to panel. Find it at Home Depot or Amazon. Use 1 bottle per 5 or 6 wallpaper panels. It facilitates installation and prevents adhesive failure.

E-Z Hang makes hanging peel and stick wallpaper easier. The spray on formula provides ‘slip’ to help float wallpaper into position and match patterns without needing to re-stick the paper multiple times. E-Z Hang improves adhesion for a long-lasting installation and cleans up easily with water.

We won’t issue refunds or replace wallpaper due to poor installation. Preparing your wall is part of the installation process and safety procedures should be followed at all times to prevent wallpaper panels falling down from the wall.

Gently wipe down with a damp cloth. Do not use cleaner or heavy rubbing.

We handle most wall paper orders within 7-10 business days and we ship priority Mail in most cases, please contact us if you need the order in a rush. ABOUT APPLICATION
Application is a simple 3-step process of peel, place, and then smooth it with your hand. It can be rearranged and easily removed numerous times. If it stick to itself it won't be damaged, just peel it off carefully (slowly) and apply again.

Wall graphics must be applied to a clean, smooth (slight textured is acceptable), dry and non-porous surface in a timely manner, preferably within 4 weeks of receiving your shipment. Freshly applied paint should be allowed to cure for a minimum of four full weeks before wall graphic application. Your decals will peel off the wall if the paint is still not cured (due to the out gassing) or if the paint is not compatible with removable decals.
